Create New Case

Helpdesk has the feature to Create a new case through comments of an existing case.

 

Follow the steps below to create cases via comments.

  1. Load an existing case.
  2. Enter the comments or details under the comments tab.
  3. Tick the option to Create New Case. Refer to Figure 1 below.
  4. Save the case.

A separate case is created on Helpdesk with  an unique case ID with the details of the comments. The new case is updated to include the case ID from which the case was created.
