Steps to Replicate:

  1. Navigate to "Time Maintenance - Project Activity Limits"
  2. Select customer "Link Technologies".
  3. Delete the existing limit
  4. Add a new limit.
    1. Project - Link Payroll 
    2. Activity - Configuration 
    3. Effective Date - 01/01/2019
    4. Frequency - Daily
    5. Use Project Limit - Yes
  5. Navigate to "Time Maintenance - Project"
    1. Select "Link Payroll".
    2. Enter "Hours = 6"
  6. Create "Time Entry"
    1. Customer - Link Technologies
    2. Project - Link Payroll 
    3. Activity - Configuration 
    4. Enter hours as 8.
    5. Time Entry "Save" prompts user that hours exceed. However, if the user closes the form, the time entry is saved.
