Subject: Employee's start date is not correct in the Employee Listing Report - after change of status
Summary:    
PART A - Issue Details
1. Details

The start date of the employee is not reflected correctly in the Employee Listing Report when an employee is made inactive and then active again.


2. Error Message (Include screenshots of error)

In the Employee Listing Repor, the start date of the employee is still reading as the old start date.

Steps to Replicate:

  1. Employee E013 started on 05/01/2000
  2. His service end date is 06/01/2020
  3. He was active again on 01/01/2021 - Refer to Figure 1
  4. Generate the Employee Listing Report
  5. The start date is reading as 05/01/2000 rather than 01/01/2021 - Refer to Figure 2

PART A - Development work for this case has been completed.

1. The change will be available in version:12.40

2. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes, and any other relevant information):

  1. Changed the start date displayed on reports to use the current service employee start.

3. Affected Areas:

  1. Employee Profile report 
  2. Employee Listing report

4. The issue was caused by:

  1. The reports were using the first employment start date. This has been changed to use the current service start date.
