  1. Employee A is paid normal hours with a quantity of 160.
  2. The employee also paid LWOP of 3 hours
  3. The total hours in the "Pay Edit" report show 163. This should be 157
    1. The 3 hours should be reflected as "-3" under "Others Column". 

Note:  The above was built and tested in case L08729

5. The issue can be reproduced by performing the following:
  1. Create pay for employee LTE00001 with Normal Hours 160
  2. Create a Leave Transaction for LWOP with hours 3.
  3. Generate the "Pay Edit Report" to verify results

This issue needs to be looked at in all reports.

We have reviewed all payroll reports and identified the following:

  1. Identify all reports showing "Leave without Pay (LWOP)" quantity.
    1. LWOP amounts should show as -ve when adding up hours in total columns so that the effective hours paid is correctly shown. 
    2. This needs to be done where the Rate is not shown next to the Quantity

The following reports need to be changed:

  1. Pay Edit Report - YTD
  2. Pay Edit Report
  3. Employee Pay Register
  4. Employee Hours Analysis - This report shows separately and is correct
  5. Employee Payment History
  6. Pay Summary Report - Quantity already shows as negative - This is correct

PART A - Development work for this case has been completed.

1. The change will be available in version:12.43.0618

2. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes, and any other relevant information):

  1. Pay Edit Report - YTD: Changed LWOP hours to Negative in the "Other" Column of the report
    1. Renamed "AAL" column to "Annual"
    2. Renamed "ASL" to "Sick"
    3. Renamed report to "Pay Edit Report - Year To Date" 
  2. Pay Edit Report: Changed LWOP hours to Negative in the "Other" Column of the report
    1. Renamed "AAL" column to "Annual"
    2. Renamed "ASL" to "Sick"
  3. Employee Pay Register
    1. All columns where Quantity is shown for LWOP is shown as negative so that the sum of Hours are correct

3. Affected Areas:

  1. Payroll reports

4. The issue was caused by:

  1. Leave Without Pay quantity was incorrectly handled in report displays

5. Notes: This is a significant change. There are several procedures and Reports in this change therefore we will not be able to issue a Patch.
