Subject: Unable to edit "Product Matrix" for a failed "Stock Adjustment".
Summary:    

Tested with version 12.40.0421RC1

Steps

  1. Create an item with a "Product Matrix" setup.
  2. Create the adjustment for the above item.
  3. Do not update the "Product Matrix" for the adjustment.
  4. Post the adjustment, system will fail the adjustment stating that the "Quantity does not match with detail Lot Serial or Product Matrix for product".
  5. Go back to the adjustment, here users are unable to update the details of the failed records because the "Edit" option is not available under "Product Matrix".

1. The change will be available in version:12.40.0426

2. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes, and any other relevant information):

  1. Allowed Lot bin and Product Matrix records to be edited when a stock adjustment has the status of "Failed"

3. Affected Areas:

  1. Inventory -> Stock Adjustment -> Lot Bin Tracked and Product Matrix Tracked.

4. The issue was caused by:

  1. Status of Failed did not allow editing of lot bin/product matrix records.
