Subject: | Rate changes to first Pay Rate when employee profile is edited |
Summary: | When the employee profile is edited the Pay Rate changes to the very first rate entered into the system. See figure 1.1 below for details. The employees' effective rate was 190,000. When the profile was edited and saved, the rate changed to $180,000. Figure 1.1 Employee Maintenance showing the incorrect rate

4. The issue was caused by: - Default Rate moved out of Employee Profile. Since no value was passed to the update system, the rate was resetting the Default Rate.
