Subject: | Add "Attachment" option so users can load attachments and save the leave application once. |
Summary: | The current design requires the leave application to be saved before an attachment can be loaded. To improve the application process, can we have the option to Load Attachments while creating a leave application? |

| To add the Attachments, we need to create the Leave Application first, as the Attachments can be large, and attachments need to be attached to an existing Record. One option would be to have a two-step process where the user Creates a Leave Application, then in step 2, adds attachments. This will be similar to a wizard-type screen, similar to "Apply for Vacancies" The current steps are as follows: - Create a New Leave Entry
- Expand the Leave Entry created in 1. above
- Navigate to "Notes and Attachments"
- Select The Attachments Tab
- Create an Attachment Group
- Expand the Attachment Group and Add Attachments
For this version, we can eliminate steps 3, 4 and 5 by doing the following: - Move the "Attachments" so it is on the main page "Notes and Attachments"
- Automatically create an "Attachment Group" so users can simply attach.
This means the Attachment process will be as follows: - Create a New Leave Entry
- Expand the Leave Entry created in 1. above
- - Not Required - Tab moved to first tab so it is automatically selected
- - Not Required - Tab moved to first tab so it is automatically selected
- - Not Required - Automatically Create when Leave is saved
- Expand the Attachment Group and Add Attachments
