Subject: Unable to change Password Field on menu "Integration ~> FMISSQLAPI" on some environments
Summary:

In some environments, we are unable to edit the "Password" field in the menu "Integration ~> FMISSQLAPI". The issue can be replicated in the LBS DEMO Environment, however, this cannot be replicated in the QA4 Development Environment.

The issue is illustrated in Figure 1 below. When we edit the row, the filter is populated automatically with the "loggedin username" and the edit form is not usable.

The following diagnostics were attempted:

  1. Microsoft Edge - Web Server hosted on Win 2012, Win 2016. Clear all browsing history, restart the browser and try again - same issue
  2. Microsoft Edge - Web Server hosted on Win2019 - NO issues found.
  3. Microsoft Edge - Incognito Window - the issue was resolved in all instances
  4. Google Chrome - Web Server hosted on Win 2012, Win 2016. Clear all browsing history, restart the browser and try again - same issue
  5. Google Chrome - Web Server hosted on Win2019 - NO issues found.

Next Steps:

  1. Sanjay to investigate further

  1. The issue is with IIS on Windows 2012. Since we do not support this version, please use the workaround where you can use an "In Private" browser window to change the Password Field.
  2. Supported versions of Windows Server are Windows Server 2016 or newer

Tests performed on:

  1. Windows 016, Windows 2019, Windows 2022
  2. IE, EDGE and Google Chrome Browsers
