Subject: Allow Multiple Category Code or Add a New Category for Fuel Consumption Per Kilometer.
Summary:
Section A - Describe what the request/issue is about
We have added a new feature in the Customer Fleet Transaction Listing Report where the system calculates the consumption per Kilometer for Vehicles for all Fuel Transactions if Mileage is Mandatory for this fleet. For this, we need to set a category at Company Administration>>Configuration for  "Product Category to use for Fleet Management Fuel".

At the moment only one category is supported. WE need to be able to support multiple categories.

Change Required

Customers have requested if we can allow adding Multiple Category Code for configuration "Product Category to use for Fleet Management Fuel" or add a new category at Inventory which will only be tagged to Fuel Items solely for the purpose of Consumption per litre calculation.

Section C - Provide a Test plan - List out at least two scenarios that will be used to verify
  1. Add Category Code to Calculate Consumption per litre.
  2. Make Mileage Mandatory for a fleet.
  3. Perform multiple sales for Fuel items and review the consumption per litre calculation at Customer Fleet Transaction Listing Report.
  4. Perform sales for non-fuel items and review this in the Customer Fleet Transaction Listing Report. This should not have any impact on the Consumption per litre.

Development Discussion:

  1. Change the configuration to allow Coomma Separated category list
  2. Change the report "Customer Fleet Transaction Listing" report to use this list of categories to calculate fuel consumption
  3. Change the Fleet management forms to use the list of categories for fuel consumption
