Subject: Auto adjust the "Payment Method" grid when adding or removing a new payment type.
Summary:

Yash stated that some Nayans outlets use only 2 payment methods therefore the other options are disabled.

The payment method selection grid in POS has blank fields that are sometimes clicked by the cashiers. He has requested if we can auto adjust the grids to show only active payment methods. This will show the active options more clearly taking space for the unused grids.

Hi Yash,

We have had a discussion with the development. Below key points were noted:

  1. What should be the grid layout if only 1 payment method is enabled.
  2. We can easily use each row when 4 payment methods are used.
  3. What should happen if a 5th payment method is added.

Next Step - Discuss the above with Yash for development analysis.

Thanks
Rashna

Hi Team,

We have discussed comment 1 with Yash. He accepts that the grid alignment would vary and eventually have the current layout if more than 5 payment methods are active.

He, however, requested if we can add a different color shade to each payment method for clarity.

We will discuss the above with the development team and provide feedback by COB 13/01.

Thanks
Rashna
