Subject: Leave that is in the CURRENT PAY can be changed in transaction maintenance forms. These changes do not flow into current pay.
Summary:    

Leave that is in the CURRENT PAY can be changed in transaction maintenance forms. These changes do not flow into current pay. This causes the following issues:

  1. Leave is paid but does not appear in Leave allocations
  2. Leave is PAID but the values are different from the leave transaction
  3. Leave is PAID but the transaction is marked as VOID

PART A - Development work for this case has been completed.

1. The change will be available in version:12.45.0719

2. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes, and any other relevant information):

  1. Changed the Leave Application "Hours" to 4DP as Leave is accrued in 4DP
  2. Change Transaction Leave amount to be 4DP based on PAID Amounts
  3. Added a Data update to correct all leave entries that are marked as "Paid" to be changed to "Taken".
    1. This is done only when the PAID AMOUNT equals the APPLIED AMOUNT
    2. The "FOR YEAR" has been corrected so that leave allocation is also corrected
  4. Created a new BIVWW named "Employee Leave Applications" that shows any leave issues related to Leave Status. Paid Leave and Applied Leave Descrepenvies

  1. Leave Entry
  2. Leave Approval
  3. Leave Transaction Edit
  4. Leave VOID
  5. New BIVW

4. The issue was caused by:
