Subject: HSUPEX is added to the "Standard and Normal" pay when the "Employer Contribution (Excess)%" is blank
Summary:

This case was created after support case E00912

Replicated in version 12.30.0106.

Steps

  1. Set the value for "EmployerSuperContributionExcessTaxExempt" under Pay Control as 10.
  2. Set the "Employer Contribution (Excess)%" as "Bank" for employee E013.
  3. Generate standard pay for the employee.
    1. HSUPEX is added to the pay which is calculated at 10% - This should not happen

Note:

  1. If the "Employer Contribution (Excess)%" is set to 0, then HSUPEX is not added.
  2. By default, the "Employer Contribution (Excess)%" is blank in the "Edit Form" when creating a new profile.
