| Subject: | LinkSOFT "Audit Data" is not informative for analysis and reporting |
| Summary: | Verified in version 12.40.0420RC!1 - This case has been created after support case E01201.
- We capture modifications to a record in LinkSOFT under "Audit Data".
- However, all modifications are recorded under "Username = Linkadmin"
- With the above, we do not know who is the actual user who had modified the record.For example.
- User A logged in and changed the TIN number for employee E001.This caused a duplicate in the system.
- Now the department wants to investigate who had made this change.
- We can not get this information from the audit as the user is "Linkadmin".

| Hi Rashna, yes this is a known issue as all users are routed vis the Application Pool user, in this case, it is "LINKADMIN". An alternative will be to use the User Identity to start the Application pool. We are looking at the best way to address this issue. We hope to have this addressed in version 12.5

| As per the development meeting with Sanjay, Alvis, Sitla, Vineshwar, and Rashna - This case requires framework changes.
- As per comment 2, the case was not developed in 12.5 due to major license changes.
- We have agreed to add this case to the "October" build. Thus case assigned to development.

| PART A - Development work for this case has been completed. 1. The change will be available in version: 13.04 2. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes, and any other relevant information): - "Logged by" cannot be changed at this stage, so we have opted to display user records clearly in the data fields. This will allow users to see who has modified the records.
- Changed "User Modified", "Approved By", "Requested By" and "User Created" fields to store actual user name in the audit data
