Subject: Break is not deducted for a 24 hours overtime timesheet.
Summary:    

Hi Alvis,

This case is reference to support case T12563. 

Tested in version 11.5.505

Scenario. 

  1. The default shift for the employees is DS.
    1. Start Time - 8am
    2. End Time - 5pm
    3. Break - 1pm to 2pm 
  2. TNA Rule Enabled - A001 and R004
  3. Due to stock take employees worked overtime for a day.

Employee A

  1. Signed in at 8am on the 06/05/2020
  2. Signed our at 7am on the 07/05/2020
  3. Totals hours calculated was 22. The one hour lunch break was deducted.

Employee B

  1. Signed in at 8am on the 06/05/2020
  2. Signed our at 8am on the 07/05/2020
  3. Totals hours calculated was 24. The one hour lunch break was NOT deducted.
Can we please review why the calculated hours was 24.

Development work for this case has been completed.

The change will be available in version:11.5.0508

1. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):

  1. Changed the calculation to deduct break when start and end time is the same for different days.

2. Affected Areas:

  1. Timesheets - calculate hours

3. The issue was caused by:

  1. The break did not calculate when the start and end time was the same.
