Subject: | Add the ability to have maintained a list of functional points for each menu item in LinkSOFT |
Summary: | Issue:
- We are having difficulty maintaining a list of functional points for LinkSOFT application
- The current method of writing functional points on case headers is difficult to manage and does not allow us to see the list clearly
- When it comes to testing, we have to rely on memory to determine what to test
Requirements - Need to be able to have a central location where we store functional points
- Easily Add/Remove functional points
- We should be able to identify when a functional point was changed/added/deleted and in what version
- We should be able to identify changes that have not been tested and mark them as tested
- We should not have to rely on memory to determine what functional points to test
- We should be able to link functional points to helpdesk case numbers for a detailed log of the change
Design: - Add a new table named LT_SYS_Menu_FunctionalPoints - will hold a list of functional points for each menu item. {ChangeDate, ChangeUser, Details, Status (Changed, Tested, etc)}
- Add a new table named LT_SYS_Menu_FunctioanlPointsLog. This table will hold the changelog including version, case number (Reference)
- Add a new table named LT_HEL_CallCategoryGroupDetails to store the new change
- In Helpdesk, populate Group with "Menu Items related to Product"
- In Helpdesk, add a tab called ""
- When a product is selected, we log the new tab with the functional points
- This new tab has Add/Edit/Delete ability which will also maintain the "Menu Maintenance"
- Add "Product Functional Points" to Quality Control
- Add to "Call Document "
