Summary:    

Scenario 1: - incorrect behaviour

A customer has a credit limit: $50,000
Available Credit: $50,000

Enter a credit sale for this customer and click on SAVE.

The system prompts message "Are you sure you want to complete this credit sale?"
YES ~> system completes the sale
NO ~> system goes to the payment screen

Scenario 2: - correct behaviour

A customer has a credit limit: $0
Available Credit: $0

Enter a credit sale for this customer and click on SAVE.

The system opens the payment screen.

Change required: Remove the prompt "Are you sure you want to complete this credit sale?" from scenario 1

Development work for this case has been completed.

The change will be available in version:11.4.1101

1. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):

  1. Removed credit sale completion prompt. The system will open the payment screen in both scenarios.

2. Affected Areas:

  1. POS Credit Sale with and without a credit limit

    The reason this prompt has been removed is to reduce the number of clicks, for example:

    1. If the customer has available credit and does not want to make a partial payment, the user completes the sale at the "payment options" without taking a payment
    2. If the user wants to do a partial payment, the pos user has one less click to get to the payment screen
    3. We have added the customer available balance next to the customer name
