MYOB API allows multiple companies to one Serial number - we need to handle this scenario.

EDGE confirmed that company names are unique and that we can use the "company name" to determine cloud instance.

Development work for this case has been completed.

The change will be available in version:12.0.0713

1. The following changes were made(Include Database object names, Program classes and any other relevant information):

  1. EDGE confirmed that we can use the Registered company name from LinkSOFT to identify the MYOB cloud instance to integrate TMS with
  2. We have altered the MYOB integration to use the LinkSOFT Registered company name to identify the MYOB cloud instance. Users still need to enter the Serial Number

3. The issue was caused by:

  1. MYOB allows Multiple accounts per serial number - Development team was not aware of this during the initial development.

System test completed.

The following steps were done after upgrading to version 12.0.0713:

  1. Changed "Registered Company Name" in the menu "Global Administration -> Company" to match with MYOB company name.
  2. Re-initiated "oAuth2 Request" for MYOB from the menu "Integration -> Integration Setup -> MYOB AccountRight API"
  3. The system pulled the company file by matching the serial number and registered company name.

      1. General Setting - Authorization username and password
      2. Authorization.oAuth2 - Enable the rule and update the below values

        3. Redirect URL
        4. Serial Number
      3. Perform the "oAuth2Request".- This should update the Access Code, Access Token and Base URL,

Note: The integration scheduler and web scheduler should be enabled.
