Subject: Display Message for Restrict Vehicle Fueling to 1 Fill per day on the Pin and Mileage form on Card Swipe
Summary:
Section A - Describe what the request/issue is about

When the Maximum number of fills per day exceeds for a fleet, we currently notify the user only after Mileage and Pin have been entered. We need to notify the cashier when the card is swiped and the customer is notified of the available balance to use. Below is the current practice
  1. Customers walk in with the fleet card
  2. The cashier swipes the fleet card to verify the customer's available credit. At this point, the cashier does not know how many fills have been done for the day or how many fills are remaining.
  3. The customer walks out to fuel their vehicle. In this scenario, if the Maximum number of fills per day is set to 1, and the customer has already done 1 fuel, they would put this on the cashier for not alerting them of the remaining fills left to utilize.
To avoid the above, we need to show the number of fills remaining in Red together with the Available Balance. See Figure 1.1 below

Figure 1.1 Mileage and Pin form showing the Number of Fills Remaining.

Section B - Cost Information:

1. Request Information
 ID
Description (*Required Fields)Value
1Customer Name *On the Go Limited
 3Cost Covered By *
4Workarounds?Enter Mileage and Pin when the card is issued

Section C - Provide a Test plan - List out at least two scenarios that will be used to verify

  1. For a fleet, set The Maximum number of fills per day. Zero means No Limit: 1
  2. Swipe the fleet card. The number of fills remaining should show as "1"
  3. Complete a fuel transaction.
  4. Now scan the fleet card again. The number of fills remaining should read as "0"
  5. Scan a fleet with no limit set
  6. The Number of Fills Remaining should read as: Not Configured
