Utilities Tab

Overview

The Utilities Tab serves as a convenient section within the Point of Sale system, offering quick access to essential operational tools and information. It is designed to assist users with daily tasks by providing immediate product insights and system diagnostics, thereby contributing to efficient retail management.

Here are the key functionalities available under the Utilities Tab:

  1. Price Check: This feature allows users to quickly verify the prices of products. You can perform a price check by using a search button, scanning an item's barcode, or manually entering the product code into the designated barcode field. Additionally, this utility displays the current in-stock value of the selected item.
  2. IMAS Mapping: This is used by the Integration to create an output file with GL account code mapping that is different to the LinkSOFT Posting Account
  3. System Event Logs: Users can view system event logs, which are crucial for monitoring activities and troubleshooting any system-related issues.
  4. Reports: The tab also provides access to various reports, offering comprehensive overviews and insights into different aspects of business operations.
